We are a small family business who likes to keep things simple and friendly. But with most things in life, especially business, the good old Ts&Cs need to be spelled out. Hopefully this is the only boring part of our site. 

La Ola Spanish trades at Kemp House, City Rd London, UK, EC1V 2NX. By placing an order with us, you agree to and accept these terms and conditions.

Our Agreement

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. Once we have reviewed your order and checked the price and availability of goods we will e-mail you to confirm that we accept your order.

In the unlikely event that your items are out of stock or a price discrepancy has occurred, we will notify you as soon as we can and allow you the option to cancel your order or purchase at the revised price. Prices are as stated on the website and are subject to change at any time without notice.

We have made every effort to display accurately the colours of the products that appear on our website. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual goods. All sizes and measurements are as accurate as possible but sizes may occasionally differ slightly from those listed.

Payment

We use secure payment facilities for online purchases. You can pay for your order by Stripe. Stripe accepts most major credit and debit cards. All prices quoted on our website are in UK pounds and include Value Added Tax at the current rate where applicable. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.

Delivery & Carriage Charges

Goods will normally be dispatched within 24 hours of order. We don’t dispatch or deliver at the weekend or on bank holidays. Occasionally the estimated dispatch date can change due to unforeseen circumstances, if there are any delays we will let you know.

Goods will normally arrive within 2-4 working days of dispatch via Royal Mail or Parcel2Go.

Where a delivery requires a signature you must be at home to accept your order. We’re afraid we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage if the delivery is left with a neighbour.

Please check the goods on delivery – if anything is missing or damaged please let us know within 48 hours via email. If the goods appear to be lost in transit, please let us know ASAP using our email address.

Returns 

We hope you love your goods but if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you can return it for a refund, within 14 days of receipt. It must be as new and in the original packaging, you are responsible for ensuring all goods are packaged adequately to avoid damage in transit. All items returned to us are at your own risk and expense, so we recommend using a recorded service.

We will aim to process your return as soon as it arrives, during busy times we will aim for an acceptable time frame following our receipt of the goods. Refunds will be made using the original method of payment and cleared funds will show according to the banks transfer times.

Products purchased as gifts can be refunded to the original purchaser; alternatively we can provide a discount code for the price of the item (s), excluding the shipping cost, to the gift recipient. 

Faulty Goods

Firstly we apologise if there is a problem with any goods you buy from us. Please let us know by email or in writing as soon as possible, providing details of the problem and if possible a digital photograph.

The cost of returning goods to us is your responsibility, however if the goods are found to be faulty we will refund your reasonable postage costs. If the goods are not faulty, we will return them to you, however you will be required to cover our reasonable postage costs.

For all faulty goods we will send you a replacement item at no cost and reimburse you the postage cost of returning the faulty item. Alternatively if you prefer we will refund the original purchase cost including postage.

If you would like an exchange, this will be arranged as soon as possible and without charge. Replacement goods will not be dispatched until the original goods have been received and checked by us.

Cancellation

You can cancel your order before it is dispatched. Usually 24 hours after purchased. We request that you inform us as soon as possible by emailing info@laolaspanish.com 

If the order is cancelled before it is dispatched and we have already taken payment, we will issue a full refund upon your instruction. If your order has been dispatched you must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging to us, at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.

If you notify us that you wish to cancel your order after dispatch, we will not refund the original shipping cost on your order and you may also incur an additional return to sender fee. Once goods have been received by us we will contact you to inform you of the amount to be refunded using the email address provided at the point of ordering.

Privacy and Security

La Ola Spanish does not retain any customer credit card details and all transactions are protected by Stripe and WooCommerce secure payment processing service. We do not sell, rent or exchange your personal information with any third parties but La Ola Spanish may occasionally send you a newsletter containing news, product arrivals and special offers.

Cookies

From time to time we may also produce aggregate data, for example to identify how our website is used. This type of information will not personally identify information about individual users. As with most other websites both we and any of our associates use cookies, which are files that web browsers place on a computer’s hard drive, to help us to identify whether you have visited the site and session cookies, which identify who you are.

Since associates and other third parties (such as Stripe) may be involved, we always advise you to ensure that you are aware of their privacy policies.

Classes: 

Our Agreement:

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy one or more services from us. Either online or in-person.

In person classes (Under 5’s Babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers):

By enrolling in our classes you are agreeing to assume responsibility for overseeing the safety of your child at class. 

• Although we try our best to provide a safe environment, we do not assume liability for the health and safety of you or your family. 

• Please be aware that we do not recommend allowing your child to put toys or instruments into his/her mouth. But no worries if they do! 

• Our sessions are sometimes held in venues with hard surfaces and, although mats are provided, you may like to bring a small blanket to lay your baby on. 

• If your baby becomes restless or needs feeding or changing during the session, please feel free to do so. 
 
The teacher will start on time and we ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes before your session to avoid any disruption during the class. 
 
We kindly ask you: 
 

• Mobile phones must be either off or on silent. 

• We ask that no food is consumed during the session, unless for medical reasons. 

• Unfortunately we cannot refund for missed sessions. 
 
COVID-19 measures:
 

 Please respect social distancing and ensure we can continue to run safely and above all have fun! 

• Use hand sanitazer when entering to the premises. 

• Your class will be set with islands that are 2m apart and we hope can offer you some comfort & space whilst you enjoy the class. 

• All props will be on your island as you arrive in bags, these props will only be used once and cleaned and sanitised & isolated after the class. 

• We suggest you to enter the venue with a face mask and take it out once you are sitting in your island – for your baby/toddler to see you and interact. But you are allow to wear a mask or face shield during the class. 

• Only 1 adult per child/siblings. 

• Please try to keep your belongings to a minimum – though do of course bring your essentials! 

• You can sit together is you attend the class with your family bubble (please inform us in advance) 

Please do not come to class if you or anyone in your household is displaying any of the following symptoms: 

       a high temperature 

       a new, continuous cough 

       a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

In case of another lockdown or new government guidelines that don’t allow us to continue with our face to face classes, lessons will continue online.

 

In person classes (5+):

For Health and Safety purposes we are required to inform you of the following:

  • By enrolling in our classes you are agreeing to assume responsibility for the safety of your child at class.

  • Although we try our best to provide a safe environment, we do not assume liability for the health and safety of you or your family.

  • Please we recommend you to take your kids to the toilet before the class start as we cannot leave the group unattended during the lesson.
  • This is a drop-off class, but parents must be waiting next room or be around in case we need to contact them.

The teacher will start on time and we ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes before your session to avoid any disruption during the session.

  • Kids are not allowed to bring phones or toys into the class.

  •  We ask that no food is consumed during the session, unless for medical reasons.

  • Unfortunately we cannot refund for missed sessions.

Covid-19 measures:

  • Use hand sanitaser when entering to the premises.

  • The class will be set with areas that are 2m apart.

  • All props/resources will be individually provide to the children, after the class they will be properly sterilised. However we might recommend you to bring some personals items like a notebook, pencil or markers, etc.

  • We suggest you to enter the venue with a face mask and take it out when you are in – for safeguarding we do need to recognise parents or carers during drop off and pick up times.

  • Please try to keep children’s belongings to a minimum – though do of course bring their essentials like water bottles.

  • You can wait outdoors or in the next room if available, but please respect social distancing.

Please do not come to class if you or anyone in your household is displaying any of the following symptoms:

       a new, continuous cough 

       a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

In case of another lockdown or new government guidelines that don’t allow us to continue with our face to face classes, lessons will continue online.

Online Classes (group classes and private tuition):

Just to reassure you, all our online classes will be private and won’t be recorded. We will use a private Zoom meeting. No contact details or images of yourself or your child/en will be shared in any way. 

When you book an online class you will receive a confirmation email.  Once we have revised your order we will send you a second email with a private zoom link.

Cancellation Policy

Group Classes (Online & In-person):

  • All bookings are non-refundable & non-transferable, unless a session is cancelled by the activity Organiser, in which case a full refund will be given. 
  • If you can’t make a session please email us at least 24 hours prior the class, as it may be possible to attend another session, subject to availability. 
  • Unfortunately we cannot refund for missed sessions.

Private sessions:

  • Please note, we do not offer refunds. However, if you give us at least 24h notice prior to a class of your need to cancel, we will reschedule your class toward another available day and time. However, if you do not cancel with at least 24h notice, you will lose any payments you have already made.
